God Game, Warsaw Protocol

The God Game
by Danny Tobey (Trade Paperback)

The God Game is a rather intriguing novel that I started reading a day or two ago.  I really liked the sound of it’s plot synopsis and so far it is proving to be quite an interesting and enjoyable book.

The Warsaw Protocol by Steve Berry (Audiobook)

I have been looking forward to this amazing thriller for a while now, especially after I had such a great time reading The Malta Exchange last year.  I am about halfway through The Warsaw Protocol at the moment, and it is turning out to be an excellent novel.  I cannot wait to see how this book ends and I imagine it will only take me a couple more days to get through it.

Into the Fire by Gregg Hurwitz (Audiobook)

The fifth book in Hurwitz’s fantastic Orphan X thriller series, Into the Fire is another compelling book that I am really enjoying.  I am about halfway through this audiobook at the moment and I looking forward to seeing how this book turns out.

Magnus and the Crossroads Brotherhood by Robert Fabbri (Hardcover)

Magnus and the Crossroads Brotherhood Cover.jpg

I only just started reading this book a little while ago and have not made too much progress with it yet.  Magnus and the Crossroads Brotherhood is a collection of short stories which follow one of the supporting characters in Fabbri’s Vespasian series, the titular Magnus, as he navigates the dangerous criminal underbelly of ancient Rome.  As Fabbri is one of my favourite authors, I was very excited to get a copy of this, and it should hold me over until Fabbri’s next book, To the Strongest, comes out in a few months.

A Little Hatred by Joe Abercrombie (Audiobook)

I am still going with A Little Hatred and I will hopefully get it finished by this time next week.  It is a really good book though, and I am really enjoying listening to it.

Legacy of Ash, Scoundrels Cover.png
Legacy of Ash by Matthew Ward (Trade Paperback)

I just started reading Legacy of Ash, and so far I am really enjoying this detailed fantasy debut.  As this book is nearly 800 pages long, this might be one I’m stuck on for another week or so, but if I get a bit of free time I don’t think it will take me too long to power through this compelling read.

Star Wars: Scoundrels by Timothy Zahn (Audiobook)

I was in the mood for another exciting Star Wars novel, so I decided to check out this amazing sounding book from one of the best authors of Star Wars extended fiction, Timothy Zahn.  I have really enjoyed Zahn’s recent Thrawn series (made up of Thrawn, Alliances and Treason), and I was curious to see what his work in the Star Wars Legends canon was like.  I am nearly halfway through this audiobook at the moment, and it is a very fun novel, featuring Han, Chewie and Lando as they try to pull of a major heist.

This is probably one of my most anticipated books for the end of 2019, and I have been wanting to read it for a while.  I am about two thirds of the way through at the moment, and it is pretty darn epic.
